I'm formally educated as a teacher of English as a Second Language (M.A. University of Minnesota, 2001); I am also a writer, and I specialize in helping non-native speakers refine their writing in English; for grammar and syntax but also the bigger picture of the meaning and flow. I have edited everything from books to business plans to statements of purpose for a variety of different graduate-level programs. I believe that personal statement that stands out is one that creates memorable images that admissions committees remember long after they finish reading your application documents. An immigrant myself, I understand the hurdles that you face in trying to gain admission to graduate studies in a foreign country with different rules and standards to the ones you've grown up with. Your success is my success, and I will do everything I can to help you gain admission to the program of your choice!
I currently reside in Germany with my husband and three sons.
